Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations and analyze fires/failures/accidents involving all types of electrical equipment and wiring systems
  • Perform electrical evaluations of failed and damaged components to determine the root cause of the failure including lightning damage, electrocutions, electrically related fires, appliance and consumer product failure evaluation, commercial equipment failures, and damage evaluations of other power or electrical systems.
  • Apply engineering principles in accordance with industry standards to investigation analysis
  • Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients
  • Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groups
  • Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen’s terms both verbally and in writing
  • Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings

General Qualifications

Current Position Available: Electrical Engineer

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Must have P.E. registration through testing
  • Seven years of engineering experience
  • Background in power systems and controls (NEC knowledge required/NESC knowledge helpful).
  • Excellent oral and writing skills
  • Public speaking experience a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Must be able to work in small spaces.
